Subject to final approval of funds, the position may be filled as of 1 August 2022 and is limited until 31 July 2025 with a possible option of contract extension. The successful candidate will manage and coordinate the new international “Research Network Sustainable Global Supply Chains” hosted by the DIE in collaboration with the German Institute for Global and Area Studies (GIGA), the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (IfW) and the Stiftung Wissenschaft and Politik (SWP). The network is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) to screen supply chain research with the aim of extracting lessons for policymaking and also conduct and commission new policy-relevant research.
