Economist (m/f/diverse) – Position number 2023-B-02
Full time 100% (39 hours/week); permanent position
Salary from € 55.000 p.a. up to € 80.000 p.a.
(German public sector tariff TVöD Bund, up to EG 14 depending on qualifications)
The position may be filled as of July 1, 2023.
The selected economist will contribute to research and policy advice on global economic challenges with a focus on developing and emerging economies. In particular, we seek a scholar with expertise on international trade, global value chains (GVCs), foreign direct investment (FDI), international finance and/or financial sector development. A track record of excellent empirical research and experience with third party funding are key criteria. We also require excellent communication skills for advising policy-makers on implications of research findings and building networks at the science-policy interface.
