Minister Svenja Schulze, who is responsible for Innovation, Science and Research in the State of Northrhine Westfalia, will speak to the Global Governance School on 15 December, 2011 about the international dimensions of her ministry's work. She will also address the question how a Federal State can assume responsibility for global sustainability and international cooperation. The session will be chaired by Imme Scholz, DIE Deputy Director.

The Global Governance School is the scholarly part of the Training and Dialogue Programme 'Managing Global Governance' (MGG), an initiative of the German Ministry for Economic Co-operation and Development, implemented jointly by the German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit.
