The conference on development finance in Addis Ababa: leading the way on future international cooperation

2015 is the year of three UN summits that will be decisive for international cooperation in the coming decades. The Summit on development finance taking place in Addis Ababa in July will prepare the way for the UN general assembly in New York in September 2015 where the new post-2015 agenda with universal objectives for sustainable development will be passed. It is also key to the climate summit in Paris in December where the successor to the Kyoto Agreement is to be passed. These three summits are linked to each other: they will only be a success or failure jointly.
