The effectiveness of Europe’s corporate social and environmental due diligence regulation is highly dependent on how Europe engages the Indo-Pacific region in its design, legitimacy, implementation, and evaluation. As a major player in the global value chain, the Indo-Pacific region needs to be part of the conversation.
