Project description
Research Question:
Why are authoritarian regimes stable and continue to adapt in the Arab World? What types of political dynamics are currently causing friction between extreme and internal pressures to reform, economic reforms as well as geopolitical upheaval? Can these function as a motor for political reforms or rather hinder them? Under what conditions?
