Project description
Research Question:
The project is concerned with the following questions: Just how poverty-oriented is German development cooperation in the water sector, and what shape could a future MDG-oriented development cooperation in the water sector assume?
What can be done to link the drinking-water sector with the irrigation sector, and how can the concept of integrated water resources management be systematically integrated into development cooperation? What methods and analysis techniques are best suited to conducting impact analyses in the water sector, and what can be done to give a firm anchoring to these methods and techniques?
