The 62nd sessions (SB 62) take place from June 16 to June 26, 2025, in Bonn, Germany. The mid-year climate conference aims to advance negotiations on critical issues such as adaptation, mitigation, climate finance, and transparency, setting the stage for the upcoming COP30 in Belém, Brazil.

Key agenda items include finalizing indicators for assessing progress on the 2030 targets under the Global Goal on Adaptation, enhancing climate finance ambitions through the Baku-to-Belém Roadmap, and implementing outcomes from the Global Stocktake. The conference will also address the submission of new Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) due in 2025, alongside discussions on the interconnections between climate change and gender, food security, and Indigenous rights. A series of workshops and events will facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration among the participants, including government representatives, and observers.

IDOS and its partners are actively involved with a number of workshops and events.
