MGG Network & German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS) / Managing Global Governance (MGG) Programme

The theme of the South African 20 Presidency in 2025 is ‘Solidarity, Equality, Sustainability’. In this Managing Global Governance (MGG) Network Meeting in Pretoria, South Africa, experts from the MGG Network will discuss how South Africa is leveraging the G20 Presidency to advance these principles both domestically and globally and exchange on specific initiatives from their respective fields. 

The discussion will be informed by a keynote by Dr Philani Mthembu, Executive Director of the Institute for Global Dialogue (IGD). Together with the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA) and the Institute for Pan-African Thought and Conversation (IPATC), IGD is Co-Leading the South African Think20 (T20) process.
