Information
The Chinese influence in Zambia has been great, and this was accompanied by Chinese perceptions of Zambia in their own media. The penetration of the Zambian economy, but also the readiness to help with the debt issue, albeit with tough negotiations, was covered in the media but always with the dimension of debt owed to Western institutions who were not always doing as much to help as China itself was.
