The recent joint declaration by India and EU at the 15th India-EU Summit in 2020 reiterated the need for a resolute and coordinated action for tackling the challenge of climate change and environmental degradation and reaffirmed their commitment to implementing the Paris Agreement. During the Summit, the leaders decided to strengthen the EU-India Strategic Partnership, based on shared principles and values of democracy, freedom, rule of law and respect for human rights, aiming at delivering concrete benefits.
Will enhanced diplomacy, international cooperation and collaboration help provide better, cost-effective ways to achieve climate goals and social inclusion between the two actors?
