Working sessions
The participants are free to choose one of four working groups with a specific topic (see below). There will be three sessions in each working group.

The main goal of this expert meeting is to discuss practical experiences with biofuel projects in Sub-Saharan Africa and their implications for future engagements. The participants are therefore asked to share experiences and knowledge regarding the specific subjects of the working groups.
- 1. Group: Socio-economic issues and food security Introductory presentation by: Sibusiso Ngubane, CEF; David Newman, Endelevu Energy
- 2. Group: Ecological issues Introductory presentation by: Meghan O'Brien, Wuppertal Institute; Martina Otto, UNEP
- 3. Group: Profitability of biofuel projects/ investments production Introductory presentation by: Rainer Janssen, WIP; Alexander von Gablenz, Elaion
- 4. Group: Involvement of private/development sector stakeholders Introductory presentation by: Janske van Eijck, Diligent Tanzania Ltd.; Peter Schrum, Alensys AG
