The first Virtual General Assembly Meeting (VGAM) of the African Academy Alumni Network took place under the topic "Peace, justice and strong institutions", SDG16. The alumni from 2021 and 2022 as well as members of the Advisory Board were invited.
The VGAMs provided an exchange platform for the members of the network. The meetings had the purpose to give the alumni and the regional block coordinators the chance to report on their work in the various countries, to work together on strengthening the growing network, to connect and to have a thematic input.
