The second Virtual General Assembly Meeting (VGAM) of the African Academy Alumni Network took place on the topic of Gender Equality, SDG5. Kossi Lorimpo Adjah, 2022 Alumnus, gave a presentation on "Gender responsiveness agriculture: a tool to bridge the food insecurity gap in Africa". The alumni from 2021 and 2022 were invited.
The VGAMs provides an exchange platform for the members of the network. The meetings have the purpose to give the alumni and the regional block coordinators the chance to report on their work in the various countries, to work together on strengthening the growing network, to connect and to have a thematic input.
