Beim letzten regulären Arbeitstreffen der internationalen Klimapolitik im Mai 2018 in Bonn sollten konkrete Spielregeln vereinbart werden. Dies war nicht gelungen. Bis gestern wurde daher in Bangkok in einer zusätzlichen Verhandlungsrunde um Kompromisse und Lösungen gerungen.
Im Rahmen einer offiziellen Verabschiedungsfeier in Bonn würdigten Vertreter des Bundesministeriums für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ) und des Ministeriums für Kultur und Wissenschaft NRW, Kolleginnen und Kollegen des Deutschen Instituts für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE) und Weggefährten aus der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit heute die Arbeit des scheidenden DIE-Direktors Dirk Messner.
