The West and Central Africa regional block of the African Academy Alumni Network organized a webinar under the topic “Food security in West and Central Africa: The need to reinforce sustainable mechanism”. The objective of this webinar was to provide a space for insightful inputs on the topic and joint discussions.
African Academy Alumni Network activities include collaborative organisation and hosting of high-level policy dialogues, joint publications and conference participation. The network members themselves drive network activities to encourage ownership and shared responsibility. Currently, the network is headed by the Alumni Executive Committee and structured in four regional blocks that coordinate their network activities on a regional level.
