European Think Tanks Group

Die European Think Tanks Group (ETTG) ist ein Netzwerk aus sechs führenden europäischen Think-Tanks, die sich mit internationaler Entwicklung und humanitärer Hilfe befassen: das German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS), das  Elcano Royal Institute / Real Instituto Elcano, European Centre for Development Policy Management (ECDPM), das Istituto per Affari Internazionali (IAI), das Institut du Développement Durable et des Relations Internationales (IDDRI) und das Overseas Development Institute (ODI). Diese sechs Institute teilen ein starkes Engagement für globalen Wohlstand und die Überzeugung, dass kollektives Handelns notwendig ist, um globale nachhaltige Entwicklung zu erreichen. Die sechs Institute anerkennen die Bedeutung der EU als globaler Akteur. Sie arbeiten zusammen, um Expertise zu bündeln, wissenschaftliche Analysen zu vertiefen, Kommunikation zu verbessern und die Kooperation mit politischen Akteuren der Mitgliedsstaaten und EU Institutionen zu maximieren. Zentrale Werte der ETTG beinhalten einen starken Einsatz für: qualitativ hochwertige und unabhängige Forschung; effektive und unabhängige Kommunikation von Forschungsergebnissen; unparteiliches Engagement in politischen Debatten. Die ETTG ist unabhängig von allen politischen Gruppen. Sie wurde 2010 gegründet.
